Collector keeps eagle eye on Old West documents

The Salt Lake Tribune ran one on Warren Anderson’s love affair with the dusty, yellowing
paper trail of Old West history. He’s a largely self-taught collector, broker and examiner of Old West letters, autographs and
curiosities. What began as a hobby
became a part-time business, sharing time with stints as a real
estate agent and journalist with the Cedar City edition of The
Spectrum newspaper as Anderson and wife Cheryl raised five children.
Today, he estimates more than 25,000 documents have passed through
his America West Archives business
(AmericaWestArchives.com); his personal inventory is
nearly as voluminous.”
