Clearing of record ordered for librarian

Two years ago, Adam M. Romanik, then the Susquenita librarian, came up with what he thought was a “creative” plan to put the back issues to good use: He sold them on eBay for $325 and then added $300 of his money and bought six computers on eBay for the library, according to court documents.

On Dec. 4, 2003, the district filed a complaint with the district attorney’s office and Romanik was charged with library theft and misapplication of entrusted property. The Patriot News reports things are begining to look up, finally.
