\”Last night the ABC evening news ran an incredibly one sided and inaccurate \”story\” regarding the CIPA lawsuit. A great piece of sensational journalism. ALA President John W. Berry was interviewed for 40 minutes for the 2-3
minute segment in which he appeared for an estimated 15 seconds. As you may guess, the piece really did not address the issues of the case but only focused on all the pornography available on the Internet. I bring this to your attention in case you are blindsided by community
members of your community today wondering why you provide and support pornography in your library, which the \”news\” piece would have you believe.\”
