Christie’s holds a library auction to explain how we got here

Cortez writes “Christies Auction House will be selling parts of the Jeremy Norman & Co. library, a collection of papers, books, and other works that touch on virtually every aspect of computing.

“The whole collection is expected to fetch in the neighborhood of $2 million. Jeremy Norman’s History of Science site has many details about the auction, the items, and upcoming live preview events. Christie’s has the lot numbers and bidding information. The auction will take place Feb. 23, and, yes, you can bid online.””
