Children’s Book May Return To Shelves

A controversial children’s book about two male penguins that was removed from general circulation at Loudoun County public elementary schools may be put back on the shelves in many school libraries, Superintendent Edgar B. Hatrick III said Tuesday night. Hatrick decided earlier this month that only parents and teachers would have access to the book, “And Tango Makes Three,” after a parent complained that it promoted a gay agenda. But at Tuesday’s School Board meeting, Hatrick said he had “exceeded the authority” given to him by the board.

    Does this mean that children are in danger of having:

    1) Sex with penguins?

    2) Gay sex with penguins?

    3) Sex with each other?

    4) Sex with penguins?

    5) Gay sex with penguins?

    Are we also concerned that our children might be tempted to make Unholy Gay Penguin Family Units With Each Other Or Possibly Penguins? Via adoption and by the sanctified method of non-penguin, non-gay sexual intercourse inside Holy Wedlock, that is.

    MAN! This is stuff is hard? How do the rocket surgeons in Loudon County deal with it? I’m guessing: prayer.

    I like penguins
    I really like penguins. I’ve been to many places to see penguins.

    I last saw them at the Whipsnade Zoo in Luton UK.

    I didn’t do anything odd with them, and I have no idea if they are gay nor do I care.

    censorship not such a bad thing
    It turns out that book banning has positive repercussions. Had someone not attempted to censor “And Tango Makes Three” the need for these kind of books may not have been addressed so extensively and by so many people.
