Children’s author becomes oldest woman to give birth

Adriana Iliescu, a university professor and author of children’s books, was made pregnant after years of fertility treatment. One twin died in the womb and doctors decided to perform a Caesarean section in the 33rd week of pregnancy, more than six weeks short of the normal term, to save the other.”
