Businessman donates $250,000 for new NC library

The Greenfield Public Library Foundation has received a pledge of $250,000 from local businessman Robert Schlytter to be used for construction of a new library. The foundation also said that Ulice Payne Jr., the president of Addison-Clifton LLC, will serve as chairman of the capital campaign for the new library. Schlytter is director of the ROS Foundation, which is donating the funds. He is a former Greenfield alderman and a founding member of the incorporation of the city of Greenfield 50 years ago.
