quirky newstory about a library book and a crook:


Book Him, Dano: When
26-year-old Karriam
Kennedy went out to the
New Jersey suburbs from
Newark, he brought along
a Tom Clancy novel from
the library to read on
the train. But Chatham
police say that was his
downfall. For when Mr.
Kennedy burglarized a
home in that suburban
town, he left his book
behind — and police
were able to track him
down through the library
where he\’d checked it
out. As Chatham
Detective Sgt. Philip
Crosson told the Daily
Record: \”Every so often
we get lucky.\”
