Kathleen de la Pena McCook writes “The book club started by producer Amanda Ross has been credited with revolutionising the reading habits of a nation. 15,000 Richard and Judy Book Clubs have been established. Ms. Ross received the Booktrusts Award for Inspiring Wider Reading at the British Book Trade Awards in Glasgow April 12 (the Nibbies).
