During the summer, most libraries make a point of attracting children through that fun monstrosity we call a “Summer Reading Program.” Over in Old Bridge, NJ however, they’re working on attracting another generation of patron, baby-boomers.
Through themed areas with books appealing to the older folks, Old Bridge Public looks to make the library more appealing to the most populous American generation. These areas feature a “Living Room” and the “Front Porch,” an area complete with rocking chairs and gramophone, (Oops, I meant to say record player.)
