Grumpy Librarian writes “The American Booksellers Association has a “Book and Library Community Statement” supporting various pro-privacy bills:
The Freedom to Read Protection Act (H.R. 1157)
The Library and Bookseller Protection Act (S. 1158)
The Library, Bookseller, and Personal Data Privacy Act (S. 1507)
The site lists about 40 bookstores that have ‘signed’ the statement, but you need a login/password to add yourself. So, unfortunately, the library community can’t add their support.”
