Books to laptops

Now here’s something I’d never though I’d write. A Republican member of the Texas House has written a bill he hopes will put laptops in the hands of a quarter of Texas high school students in the next two years.
News 8 Austin Has a small blurb. The measure passed Wednesday and would restructure the decades old textbook adoption process, replacing it with an effort to stimulate the use of technology in Texas classrooms. The Houston Chronicle has some more details on House Bill 4.
