AZ Library Board says ‘no’ to removing materials

There will be no book bans in Chandler libraries this year. The Library Board voted unanimously Thursday to leave four items on the shelves over complaints from residents who wanted them moved or removed. Objections were to the Phoenix New Times, comedian George Carlin’s audio book, When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?, Where Willy Went, a children’s book about racing sperm, and The Faerie Tale Theater DVD narrated by Robin Williams.
