Harvard and MIT post changes in Elsevier holdings

On February 5th, The Harvard Gazette reported that it is reducing its Elsevier titles from “131 titles to about 35.” Similarly, MIT Libraries posted a notice in January that they were changing their Elsevier and Wiley contracts.

Sharing is a good thing

Two towns=one library. According to the Boston Globe, the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library is the only shared public library in Massachusetts. So far, so good. Residents of both towns enjoy a larger facility, more books, and a place to hold meetings–600 last year!
