Australian libraries to lend sporting equipment

Want to play tennis but don’t have a racquet?
Want to do some golf putting but don’t have sticks?
Had an idea that you’d like to do yoga but don’t have a mat?

Now borrow all of these things – and more – through five new Be Active sports libraries at Jamestown, Port Pirie, Peterborough, the Flinders Mobile Library and Orroroo Health Centre. It’s all part of the Mid North Be Active Field Officer program and the concept is already proving very popular. “We have had a great response to the concept, a lot of the equipment is already out in use, which is fantastic,” Mid North Be Active field officer Brad Breeding said.
