At Greentown library, it’s no happy ending

Bob Cox spotted This Canton Rep. Story on a one-room library known as “the little library in the cornfield”. After a year’s reprieve, the ax of state budget cuts has finally felled the Greentown branch of the North Canton Public Library.

“It’s just so sad,” Harris said. “The patrons are going to be lost without that library. … It’s a sad day in Greentown. But we fought. We kept it open for a year.”
