The Mill Reef Club, described in this book as “the premier private resort in the Caribbean for over half a century” (and whose website is restricted to members only), has made the gift of a library to students at the local Freetown Primary School in Antigua, their neighbors.
According to this lovely story from the Antigua Sun, the Mill Reef Club has contributed to the Freetown community on a number of occasions. Verdaline Parker, a member of the PTA, says this latest gesture has further cemented the relationship developed between the club and the community since the Club has demonstrated its commitment to helping the people of the area, time and time again.
