People from the world over can now view most of what is available in Alaska’s libraries by visiting the ALNCat (Alaska Library Network Catalog). You may search all participating Alaska libraries at once, or limit a search by type of library or region of state.
One purpose of this group catalog is to allow smaller libraries to identify the best libraries for ILL purposes. Another is to allow Alaskans to find the nearest library that holds a given item. All others are welcome to search at their leisure.
