Admission fee to Rooms irks archivists

Anonymous Patron writes “The CBC – Newfoundland & Labrador Reports New admission charges will be in place when The Rooms cultural centre opens in St. John’s this summer. Mary Ellen Wright of the Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Archives says she and other archivists cannot believe the government wants to charge a fee to people just to look at public records.”
