A welcoming article for the few, the brave, the Toronto-bound

This piece from the Toronto Star says all kinds of lovely things about librarians, especially about those who will be attending ALA/CLA in Toronto. Particularly interesting are the projected attendance figures, which are significantly different than the numbers from the end of last week. Apparently, ALA is projecting a combined CLA/ALA attendance of 12,000, down from original estimate of 25,000.

Big worry for me now is getting across with only a birth certificate. Damn, but passports are expensive.
