A Great Idea Lives Forever. Shouldn’t Its Copyright?

Anonymous Patron writes “”WHAT if, after you had paid the taxes on earnings with which you built a house, sales taxes on the materials, real estate taxes during your life, and inheritance taxes at your death, the government would eventually commandeer it entirely?”

    Perfect Recipe for Stupidy
    You know, he didn’t phrase it correctly. What he really meant to say was:

    “What if you wanted to put a brake on new ideas and creativity — end the cycle of intellectual development that one generation bequeathes to another — such that the dead hand of the past would eventually commandeer it entirely?”

    That’s what he really meant to say.
