An expert on the theft of rare books said Monday he is not surprised James Brubaker of Great Falls was able to steal documents from libraries in broad daylight.
“I don’t find it odd at all,” said Travis McDade, assistant professor of library administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne. “This stuff is surprisingly common.”
