98-year-old library worker means business

Here’s One on Lois Wible, the oldest volunteer at the Cedar Park Library, 98 years young.
These days, she catches a ride to the library once a week, then spends about three hours calling patrons to tell them their reserved books are available or the ones they’ve checked out are overdue.

“She just showed up, and I needed help,” library Director Pauline Lam says. “She’s been devoted to us for 20 years.”
