2 New Library Reports

The Information Institute at the School of Information Studies at Florida
State University announces the availability of the report two reports:


The E-rate report analyzes a range
of trends and spending related the Erate awards as reported by public
libraries. Data are analyzed by state as well as other demographics.


The Public Libraries and the Internet reportcontains
data regarding public library Internet connectivity, public access Internet
services, filter use, sources of Interent funding (including E-rate use),
instruction services, and other related data. This is an update to the 2000
Public Library Internet study cited by the recent Supreme Court
decision on the Children’s Internet Protection Act regarding public library
Internet connectivity.
