Delete our cultural heritage?

    Vulnerable: Digital or not
    Information stored in paper form is equally (if not more) vulnerable to breakdown and obsolescence. This problem is not exclusive to digital information. That is why preservation and archiving is important to combat breakdown and obsolescence. Often this means information in the traditional formats have to be digitized. And often for practical reasons, they exist in both paper of digital format (at least, for now.)
