Kids love books like Stephen Biesty’s Incredible Cross-Sections. They’re full of pictures which are very approachable and intricately detailed. I’ve seen kids check it out over and over again.
So it came as a bit of a funny surprise to learn that, in almost every illustration, there’s a picture of somebody sitting on the toilet and relieving themselves.
Makes you wonder how long it’ll be before someone calls for its removal.
Cool book
My twenty-something kids loved it back when it came out. I wouldn’t call it “toilet humor” though, it’s just how things were on sea-going vessels those days, a fact of life.
You’re right though, probably someone (undoubtedly one of those people who HAS NEVER RELIEVED HIM/HERSELF (full of it) will/does object.
