Here’s A Note on the new Google Tool Bar for Mozilla.
– It will work with Firefox 1.0+
– It will work on Win2k/XP, MacOS X 10.2, and Linux 8.0+
– It has pretty much the same features as the latest IE toolbar except
of course for things like the Popup Blocker
will this be the end of…googlebar?”
Linux 8.0+???
I just loved seeing that. It would appear that the folks at Google don’t really keep up with Linux that much. The last I checked, the most recent version of Linux (the kernel) is 2.6.12.2. So the question is: which Linux distro does Google officially support? Slack? Red Hat? FC4? Mandrake? Debian? (It doesn’t matter to me… I build my own.)
