Good News from the center of the hipster universe. Ringing the changes: phone box becomes mini-library: A UK Village that was set to lose its traditional red phone box and library service comes up with plan to save both
"Are they Portland-influenced? We know the ones in Wisconsin and Vancouver, Canada are."

Phone box becomes mini library

Given that the library phone boxes in the UK started before 2009, it looks like Portland copied the UK rather than vice versa....
