Yale University press caught up in censorship row

Yale University Press has been forced onto the defensive, amid accusations that it is unfairly curtailing a social scientist’s ability to publish her research.

American soldiers are dying overseas to protect the freedoms that Yale Press editors and bureaucrats are to frightened to express.

Shame on Yale, and all the Yale alumni who support this nilly-willy fear of others.

Whatever does this teach their students about academic morality?

R. Lee Hadden (These are my own opinions!)

If you know, has the ALA taken a position on this?

They were just in the news about censoring political/religious cartoons....

Sheesh, what is this country coming to?

This is the same story--forbidding the book from including the cartoons. Doesn't make it better, but it's one incident, not two.
