Robin notes The Texas Rangers are joining forces with Arlington leaders in a vigorous bid to land the George W. Bush presidential library by offering a choice of sites from more than 100 acres surrounding The Ballpark in Arlington.

The Metroplex city is competing with at least five Texas universities to secure the library, a prize that could draw nearly 200,000 visitors a year and pump millions of dollars into the local economy.

An entire library for GWBush? Considering how much information the Administration has fought tooth and nail to keep away from Congress and the public, what’s left for public eyes can be ensconced in the George W. Bush Presidential Filing Cabinet.
Maybe they’ll build a baseball diamond on the spare acreage …
