New report on library automation

Marshall Breeding recently released a report on <a href="http://www.librarytechnology.org">Library Technology Guides</a> that describes the results of a survey asking libraries to rate the satisfaction of thier current automation system, the company that provides it, and the quality of customer support. It also probes interest in open source library automation systems. A total of 1,779 individuals from 47 different countries responded. Survey results were gathered between August 8, 2007 and January 5, 2008.
