Published by Random House,The Iraq Report Will be Out on December 6

The Washington Post reports that the Iraq Study Group's report on the war there will be released next week, to be published by Random House, as was the 9/11 Commission Report. It will also will be posted Wednesday on the Web sites of the U.S. Institute of Peace and the James Baker Institute.

I would like to demand that all libraries refuse to purchase this book unless it is also bought with at least one other title that represents the other side.

Any books advocating the ISG plan should be off-set with materials that advocate the SFAESAGS (Stay For An Eternity, Stand Around Getting Shot) Plan.

Hmmmm, . . . well, Chuck, I'd say in the interest of fair and balanced, those who'd like to see what good job the U.S. is actually doing in Iraq should be sent there at government expense. Well equipped with whatever body armor is allowed and weapons and ammo enough to defend themselves.
