Librarians Without Borders: Redesigned Site

Anonymous Patron writes "Librarians Without Borders, an organization that was born in February 2005 by a group of socially-minded MLIS students, has redesigned their Web site. The goal of the organization is to address the vast information resource inequity existing between different regions of the world."

Their first international project is in Angola...check it out.

I've heard people from this group speak at a few events and think that they have a passion that's often lacking from library groups. Their methodology is well thought out and well-planned - better than the knee-jerk reaction of dumping a bunch of books on developing countries, whether they are useful of not. Check out their site and give 'em your support. Buy one of their bags - they're pretty good quality.
