The edit historywikipedia.org> page is pretty heavy today. Vandalism on Wikipedia isn't new, but this is a good example of how it is currently handled.

I checked at about 2:05 pm EDT and saw they got the date of the papal election wrong (2004), and 2 minutes later Wiki had corrected it.
