As e-readers become cheaper and more plentiful, they are going mass market, enticing some members of the younger generation to pick them up for the first time.

De-evolution
This is a matter of de-evolution for cats. As most cat owners know, cats have eyes in their behinds. This is why the cat sits on your newspaper in the morning. They like the section on international politics, which they think of as intellectual kitty litter.
If they can read from the arm of the sofa, they may lose their extra pair of eyes, and perhaps, their 20-20 hindsight.
