The man wasn’t wearing headphones or using a privacy screen filter — he was recording the porn with his phone. Hansen found a security guard standing 15 feet away from her computer, but didn’t find much help when she told him about her neighbor.

“He said ‘Yeah, I know, but there’s nothing we can do about it,'” Hansen said.

    Porn in public libraries
    Just wondering why – if public library policies allow the viewing of porn in public spaces – they don’t go the whole 9 yards and subscribe to Playboy, etc.?
    Frankly, patrons weren’t viewing porn during my work hours because I would call them on it. Young children were often in the adults area; I felt I had no choice but to ignore our free-wheeling library policy.

      If that’s the case, the flaw is with your monitoring of young children, not with the policy itself. We shouldn’t be enforcing our own personal morals onto others. That’s the definition of censorship. What next, weed books you personally disagree with?
