ICT – Assessing Literacy for Today and Tomorrow

    Already did a pilot test…
    I saw an article about this almost a month ago now…I THINK it was in the Boston Globe. Regardless, they’ve done a pilot test of this particular instrument. What ETS doesn’t say is how they intend to use the results of the test.

    Are they going to take the results and present them to Congress as evidence that public schools need more funding? Funding for what: teachers, technology, technology SUPPORT STAFF? Perhaps funding for more classes at the university level to TEACH the TEACHERS how to use technology in the classroom more effectively than killing their students with powerpoint presentations?

    I must think on this a little more…perhaps I’ll come up with solutions to my own questions.
