Symphony Upgraded

Channel Web reports that IBM Lotus has updated the Symphony suite to work with more platforms. Symphony was originally a Lotus product that competed against Microsoft Office and WordPerfect Office. With Lotus now existing as a division of IBM, the suite has turned into a fork of OpenOffice.org instead. This may present an additional alternative for libraries seeking office productivity packages for their computers.
