They really need to change it
So that you can at least sort by people that have bought the book from Amazon if not only let customers who have bought the book review it. If you don't like the idea of forcing people to buy it then I'd think the choice of which reviews you read (bought or not) is a fair middle ground.
It's getting silly now.
Not just because of this but generally.
First amendment rights? Not on someones private servers where you agree to terms and conditions of behaviour.
