The secret's out. There is another stereotype for librarians out right now, passive aggressiveness.

To celebrate National Library week, Buzzfeed collected 20 Passive Aggressive Library Signs. If I knew they were looking for contributions, I could have added another 20 to that.

Many of these signs are aggressive, not passive aggressive

and many of them are damn funny.

this is a useful sign.

if we don't see which materials you are using, then how will we know what to keep and what to discard? some reference items never get counted unless we can see them out on a table. so if you don't want me to throw out that book you love, leave it where I can see that someone uses it.
