depressing film [spoiler]

he spends his whole life in the library, never meets the woman who originally drew him there, ... it was one of those sad views of the world of books as being everything in his life. and he didn't even get to have a cat. it made me think of that movie Let the Right One In, with the books draining the life of each new servant.
it was a joy to watch, but depressing to think about.

Fantastic Flying Books

A certainly well deserved Oscar!
