Fire Outside the Truman Presidential Library

It was a tense evening when fire broke out at a historic building in Independence. Firefighters were called to the Truman Presidential Museum and Library around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. It turns out the fire started outside a fuse box. The exterior of the building sustained some damage, but it's considered minor. The fire did not damage any of the artifacts inside the library.
