When I visited the Library of Congress last summer, I just remember looking at all the magnificent statues and monuments to truth and knowledge, and feeling like I was standing at the Parthenon, or some other ruin of a civilization which no longer exists. These photos offer a beautiful glimpse of that magnificent building.
