Estevez Plans Movie..."The Public" About the Homeless in Libraries

News from the world of cinema about a new movie in the works from Emilio Estevez entitled "The Public"...from Reuters.

Here's the April 2007 op-ed in the LA Times (plot source for the movie), written by Chip Ward, recently retired as the Assistant Director of the Salt Lake City Public Library System, entitled "What They Didn't Teach Us in Library School."

"when the library is overwhelmed by people seeking shelter. After the library administration rebuffs one librarian's attempts to keep the doors open, he stages an act o" (End of article.)

Bad news, everyone. They know about Act O. I know we all took a blood oath during the Terrible Rite of the Omnipresent Silverfish in library school but the secret is out. The Mighty Duck himself knows about, and is planning to blab about, Act O. If we act quickly we may be able to nip this in the bud with a lead shhh. Otherwise we will have to progress to an Act P, and I don't think any of us really wants that.
