Gorman on News Hour

Was it just me, or was Michael Gorman outdone by the other guest on the show? It seemed to me like he did not have much to say, and he came across as extremely stuffy. I wanted to yawn everytime he spoke, to say the least I was dissapointed. It seemed like he was either nervous, underprepared or just plain uninterested. What's the deal?

A transcript and links to audio and video are available on the Newshour web site.It may be too much to expect Michael Gorman to get excited about Harry Potter. My wife liked the new book. Got it Saturday afternoon and stayed up till 5:30am the next morning.

meh

I dunno, he wasn't bad, just a little boring and academic sounding. Not the best advert for the ALA but could've done worse
