On Friday, April 22, 2005, I received my first, and possibly last royalty check. The check was for a book that I coauthored with four other documents librarians. The book is Tapping State Government Information Resources and covers major publications and information resources published by all 50 states. I compiled the entries for ten northwestern states. Not Pulitzer material, but hopefully useful.

If you get questions about statistics, laws, etc about other states, it might be worth a purchase. Otherwise, you could probably live without it. I haven't mentioned the book here before because it seemed like shameless advertising. But now I have a personal life event to tie it into!
