good point
So invite all your friends over...

You can Browse By Comments, not a page that I've put out there yet, but it seems to be working pretty well.
Overrated
Moderation, that is. I'm all for excess.
Re:Overrated
Ah, I don't HAVE to moderate. I just felt pressure to do something with my 15 points, and had no place to go with 'em.
Believe me, I would invite all my friends to sign up for lisnews to flood the site with users but they are not as interested in sites like this as I am :(
Re:Overrated
Then let me be the first one to say it, those are not the kind of people you should have as friends! Everyone should be interested in LISNews! :-)
And to add to the problem...
Usually the articles most likely to solicit comments are ones the more active users want to comment on themselves (and therefore can't moderate). If it comes to a decision between moderating and commenting, I'll comment every time. :)
It IS really annoying though when someone makes a really great comment and you can't moderate it because you already commented somewhere farther up the thread. :(
Re:And to add to the problem...
My dear crow, you have a point there. It is an option that I can turn off, and I've not really given that any thought before. You raise a very good point there though, It IS really annoying though when someone makes a really great comment and you can't moderate it because you already commented somewhere farther up the thread.Maybe I'll turn that off, and see how things go, I don't think we'll have a problem, but we shall see.
