"So You Want to Become a Prison Librarian?"

"So You Want to Become a Prison Librarian?" That's the name of a Wisconsin Department of Corrections' presentation.

Turns out, there are quite a few people who want to do just that. But, since it's not a job that's on a lot of people's radar, the DOC is always trying to spark interest in the career.

Right now, there's even an opening in Jackson County.

TV News checked out the books behind bars at the Stanley Correctional Institution and the librarian they talked to says it's a job that's very rewarding.

That County looks like a nice area

That would be a really nice area of the country to live in. Far enough away from the Twin Cities and Madison for good real estate prices, close enough to drive over when needed.
