...so says Barbara Vey in her blog at Publishers Weekly about the RWA Conference in hot Dallas.
"Today was all about the librarians. In a program founded by author and former librarian Cathie Linz, the librarians were treated to a breakfast and speeches by Suzanne Brockmann and Shana Abe (who wasn't warned that she had to give a speech, poor thing. She was still delightful). The librarians were then allowed in the goody room where they could stock up on free books, bookmarks and a variety of author giveaways. Then came a workshop hosted by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Jayne Ann Krentz, who clearly had worked together before and taunted each other to the delight of the audience. Nora Roberts was the guest speaker at the luncheon and the group received a copy of her book High Noon."
