ACLU Withdraws Patriot Act Lawsuit

Citing changes in the 2001 law made earlier this year, the ACLU has decided to drop its lawsuit related to section 215 of the Patriot Act. This section, the ACLU claims, presents serious constitutional problems in light of its supposed restrictions on free speech. The ACLU will continue to litigate other sections of the Patriot Act.

So it isn't possible that the poster saw the ACLU press release? Conservator's the only person who gets ACLU press releases? Who knew?

World revolves around Conservator

At the Conservator blog there is this update to the ACLU story. UPDATE: What makes the editors at LISNews feel entitled to take people's content without acknowledging their sources? Please go steal your material somewhere else. Thanks. Sheesh. Remember Conservator is the single source for information. There is no way LISNEWS could have gotten this information from anywhere else. The world revolves around Conservator. You made yourself look like a complete ass on this one Conservator. Although that is not very hard to do.

You just have the idea that the response is to the previous post as compares to the fact that there is an entry at Conservator that is ripping on LISNEWS.

What the hell does that even mean. Reading that made my head hurt.

I read the Conservator and I often agree with him, but Walt has a very valid point that someone could have seen the ACLU posting as well.

Being that this is LISNews I suspect more readers look at the ACLU site than Conservator's.

As poster of this article in question, I must respond to a strangely puzzling "attack."
For the record, no I did not "take" anything from the Conservator blog. I found the ACLU press release via a Google News Alert. If the anonymous poster has such difficulty with the content of LISNews, perhaps they could register and become an author themselves. After all, the conservative viewpoint is so drastically underrepresented in the media and government today.
